Siobhain is currently on maternity leave until October 2020.
Siobhain provides strategic leadership for PTEN Research. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity and works closely with scientists and patients to develop programmes and partnerships.
Her career started at Accenture 20 years ago, where she provided business strategy and change management advice to private and public-sector clients. Over the past ten years, Siobhain has worked on large scale international development projects focused on helping the world’s most vulnerable people. Most recently she served as Project Director for the world’s largest population based infectious disease survey (covering 224 million people) to identify trachoma endemic-areas in 29 countries using Android smartphones. The £17 million programme was supported by the UK Department for International Development with co-funding from USAID.
Siobhain holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Durham.
